Shortcuts

The URX Core75 uses a compact 75% ANSI layout (81 physical keys and 1 tactile rotary knob). To retain full keyboard features in a smaller form factor, the Core75 uses function layers accessed by holding down the FN key.

Wireless RGB and System Configs

These secondary commands work in both Windows and macOS modes:

Connection Profiles

Combination Profile / Mode Description Associated Indicator
FN + Q Bluetooth Profile 1 Switches the keyboard to Bluetooth channel 1. Under-key LED glows static Blue when holding down FN if this profile is active. Blinks rapidly during pairing, blinks slowly during reconnection. Blinks Red if physical switch blocks.
FN + W Bluetooth Profile 2 Switches the keyboard to Bluetooth channel 2. Under-key LED glows static Blue when holding down FN if this profile is active. Blinks rapidly during pairing, blinks slowly during reconnection. Blinks Red if physical switch blocks.
FN + E Bluetooth Profile 3 Switches the keyboard to Bluetooth channel 3. Under-key LED glows static Blue when holding down FN if this profile is active. Blinks rapidly during pairing, blinks slowly during reconnection. Blinks Red if physical switch blocks.
FN + R 2.4GHz Wireless Switches the keyboard to 2.4GHz wireless mode. Under-key LED glows static Green when holding down FN if wireless mode is active. Blinks rapidly during pairing, blinks slowly during reconnection. Blinks Red if physical switch blocks.
FN + T Wired USB Mode Switches the keyboard to wired USB connection mode. Under-key LED glows static White when holding down FN if wired mode is active. Blinks Red if USB cable is unplugged or unpowered.

RGB Matrix Controls

FN + \ Next Animation Effect Cycles forward to the next built-in RGB matrix lighting animation effect. None
FN + PgUp Next Palette+ Cycles forward to the next built-in color palette. None
FN + PgDn Next Palette- Cycles backward to the previous built-in color palette. None
FN + (Up Arrow) RGB Brightness Increase Increases the backlight brightness level. All keys blink White 3 times if maximum brightness limit is reached.
FN + (Down Arrow) RGB Brightness Decrease Decreases the backlight brightness level. All keys blink White 3 times if minimum brightness limit is reached.
FN + (Right Arrow) Animation Speed Increase Speeds up the animation cycle speed of dynamic lighting effects. All keys blink White 3 times if maximum speed limit is reached.
FN + (Left Arrow) Animation Speed Decrease Slows down the active dynamic lighting animation speed. All keys blink White 3 times if minimum speed limit is reached.

Custom Functions

FN + S OS Layout Toggle Toggles the system layout layers between Windows (Layer 0) and macOS (Layer 1) modes. Caps Lock LED blinks Yellow (1 time for Windows, 3 times for macOS).
FN + D Sleep Standby Timer Cycles the inactivity wireless sleep timeout (1m / 3m / 10m / 30m). Function row keys F1-F12 light up in static Cyan representing the active minutes when holding FN.
FN + F Wireless Max Brightness Unlock Toggles the wireless brightness clamp on or off to allow full 255/255 brightness. None (forces instant visual update of backlights).
FN + X SOCD Cleaner Toggle Toggles the Simultaneous Opposing Cardinal Directions cleaner for WASD keys. S key glows static Red when holding down FN if active.
FN + Enter Battery Level Temporarily displays the battery charge level on the keyboard. Numeric Row 1-0 lights up as proportional color blocks (Green/Yellow/Red) or a green wave animation (charging).
FN + LWin Windows Key Lock Locks the Left and Right GUI (Windows) keys in Windows mode to prevent game interruptions. Left Win key glows static White when active.
FN + LCtrl RGB Test Mode Enters the color check loop. Press Space to cycle Red -> Green -> Blue -> White, or press any other key (except Space, FN, or Left Ctrl) to exit. All keys cycle colors.
FN + Space (Hold 3s) Factory Reset / Clear EEPROM Factory resets and clears all custom configurations. Spacebar blinks Red for 3 seconds, then lights up solid Red for 1 second before resetting.
